Retreat Center

The Dreamseed Retreat Center is currently in the visionary stage. We intend to offer an inspiring array of eco-friendly lodging options for visitors and workshop teachers. We have a camping area for tents, and are designing small cottages, a treehouse, gypsy wagon, earthen home and will be fundraising for a beautiful yurt with a rocket stove and solar lighting which will function as our community center. All of these structures will represent examples of sustainable housing, and as they are built, we will offer workshops for the community to learn how to do it themselves.  We are documenting the process of developing the retreat center so that ultimately, we can share the model with others as a template for offering a similar facility in their area. The retreat center will be available for artists, musicians, healers and other visionaries to take a break from the urban frequencies, listen to the birds, soak in the hot tub, teach , learn, create and dream while breathing fresh air in a lush, green forest.

Future plans include building a recording studio for musicians to produce their albums, an art studio with pottery, glassblowing, metalworking, painting and sculpture facilities, an outdoor kitchen available to anyone staying at Dreamseed, with regular classes in culinary arts, permaculture and holistic nutrition. Our tiny cottages will provide the perfect getaway for writing a book, working on a painting, or just unplugging to dream in silence. This will be a non-denominational, all-ages community retreat facility. We are open to proposals for future classes and workshops as well as group retreats for your own organization, weddings and other festivities.
